2.  Housekeeping Issues

a.   April 13^th/14^th – All hands needed – Superleague, club matches, NERU D2 and D3 playoffs, two college tournaments.  Three exchange refs coming to Met NY (Fred Thomas from Chicago, Colin Shaw from Canada, and Peter Barry from New England ).

b.   April 7^th schedule distributed by Topica list because website administrator out of town.

c.   Upcoming tournaments – 6/1 Jersey Cup, 6/8 Conn. Cup (moved to NERFU, but we will help cover), 6/15 Rockaway 7’s, possibly 6/22 Montauk 7’s (qualifier), 7/18 Princeton 7’s (qualifier)

3.   Checks received from Met NY union, so donations made to charities, including clubs, in respect of 9/11.

4.   Tape library – Charlie DeVerna out of town, but library will be active shortly.

5.   Running touch – Don’t call back tries for technical matters, only for foul play – don’t be too obtrusive with respect to referees game – importance of proper pregame instruction from referee to TJ’s.

6.   Ropes – many teams still don’t have them.  Can remind them when they confirm the match.  memo on ropes to be recirculated to the clubs.  No ropes, will not start play.  Also, $50 fine, with proceeds to charity, youth rugby, etc.

7.   Expenses – some clubs still remiss in paying, especially colleges.  Also, some clubs have not paid dues, will not get refs assigned.
